Ginny Lowe Connors will join poet Brett Maddux for a poetry reading at the Noah Webster House in West Hartford. Ginny will be sharing selections from White Sail at Midnight.
An Open Mic is part of this program, sponsored by the long-running WordHouse Poetry Series and the Noah Webster House.

Ginny Lowe Connors will join Julia Paul and Debbie Gilbert to celebrate and share from their latest poetry books. Ginny's book is White Sail at Midnight. Julia's book is Table with Burning Candle, and Debbie's book is Bleat and Prattle. This event featuring three well-known Connecticut poets is not to be missed. An open mic and book signings will be part of the program.

Several events will be held locally to celebrate the publication of the anthology Of Hartford in Many Lights: Celebrating Hartford's Buildings. It contains poems about over 40 Hartford landmarks, as well as brief prose commentaries by the editors. Ginny Lowe Connors will join some of the other Connecticut poets who have contributed poems to the book in two of these programs, one in September and another in November.
