Poetry in the Parks
a project sponsored by the town of West Hartford, which seeks to blend poetry and art within the natural environment of our parks

Our
goal is to install a series of displays
in West Hartford Parks, each of which presents a poem written by a local
poet combined with the artistic expression of an artist from the area. Poetry Posts are to being installed in Westmoor
and Fernridge
Parks. On Saturday, July 11th (raindate is Sunday, July 12th), the public is invited to view the Poetry Posts. Some of the poets and artists may be on hand at 3:00 at Westmoor Park and 5:00 at Fernridge Park.
You can see copies of the poems that have been chosen here.
